Yoga Teacher Mentorship
Supporting your goals as a yoga teacher.
Yoga Teacher Mentorship
Who is a yoga teacher mentorship for?
Anyone who has completed a 200-hour training is eligible to begin a yoga mentorship. If you would like to gain confidence and competence teaching yoga, a mentorship is a great way to gain the necessary knowledge and experience. Especially if you completed your yoga teacher training online, a yoga mentorship can help close any gaps in your training.
What does a mentorship look like?
Your mentorship plan is completely unique to you and your goals. It can be done in-person or online. It usually involves a mixture of one-on-one meetings, observation of your teaching, and opportunities to observe or assist with my studio classes (if local).
What will I learn in a yoga mentorship?
Your mentorship is totally customizable, but the most common areas we work on are cueing, sequencing, classroom management, and hands-on adjustments.
We also address challenges like imposter syndrome, finding your voice, and dealing with burnout as a yoga teacher.
What makes a great yoga teacher?
I ask all my students this question. For me, it's a teacher who is responsive to the people who show up. Someone who is engaged with their students, can see their struggles, and can (at least occasionally) ease them. Being a great yoga teacher is about walking the path with your students and helping them find deeper meaning in their practice.
Typical Program Structure
Session Zero
Begin your journey by meeting with me for a no-cost, no-commitment “session zero.” We will discuss your experiences, strengths, and areas where you would like to grow. I will use your goals, budget, and desired timeline to develop a mentorship plan tailored to you.

Feedback
A great way to get useful feedback is for me to attend one of your classes or review a recording of your teaching. I will attend/review a 1-hour class and provide 15-20 minutes of feedback. I will also use this information to help with goal-setting and refine the plan established from our Session Zero.

One-on-Ones
The bulk of most mentorship plans will be scheduled one-on-one time where we talk through issues, practice teaching skills, and work toward your goals.

Resources
Unlimited lifetime access to my writings and teaching resources included with minimum 5 paid sessions.

Observation
If you are local, your mentorship plan includes in-person observation of my regularly scheduled studio classes.
